Tips for first-time subletters in Sydney

Just finished my first 6-month sublet in Surry Hills and wanted to share some tips for fellow Pinoys: 1. Always get a written agreement, even if it's informal 2. Take photos of the place before moving in 3. Check the NBN connection — some older buildings have terrible internet 4. Join local FB groups for your suburb for neighbourhood tips 5.
